kitab ka phul
khilā thā sub.h savere jab āftāb kā phuul
diyā thā toḌ ke us ne mujhe gulāb kā phuul
zamāna biit gayā, ittifāq se mujh ko
milā hai aaj ye sūkhā huā kitāb kā phuul
hujūm-e-ġham se nikal aa.e haiñ mire aañsū
ki hai ye tohfa-e-māzī mire shabāb kā phuul
khila tha subh sawere jab aaftab ka phul
diya tha toD ke us ne mujhe gulab ka phul
