vo ek sāhil kī shaam thī jab
hamāre e.azāz meñ ḳhushī se
habāb phoḌe the machhliyoñ ne
salām har mauj ne kiyā thā
qarīb-tar dekh kar
samundar ne apnā dāman hamāre jalvoñ se
bhar liyā thā
vo apnī maujoñ kā aur talātum kā aks
shāyad hamārī āñkhoñ meñ dekhtā thā
wo ek sahil ki sham thi jab
hamare eazaz mein KHushi se
habab phoDe the machhliyon ne
salam har mauj ne kiya tha
qarib-tar dekh kar
samundar ne apna daman hamare jalwon se
bhar liya tha
wo apni maujon ka aur talatum ka aks
shayad hamari aankhon mein dekhta tha
