tikonoñ se muzayyan thā shifā-ḳhāna
vahāñ se aaj vo lauTī to
apne tiin bachchoñ se lipaT kar ḳhuub roī
aur merā sar
jhukā yuuñ sharm ke maare
kisī bhārī shajar kī shāḳh ho goyā
wo kahti thi

aur mera sar
jhuka yun sharm ke mare
