qalam kāġhaz kitābeñ harf
lamhe ḳhvāb tā'bīreñ
tumhāre qahqahe aañsū tabassum siskiyāñ
aaheñ ḳhamoshī chīḳh
hairat aur is meñ Dūbtī rāheñ
chalo jaldī sameTo sab
tumhāre ḳhaak meñ milne kā mausam aan pahuñchā hai
