vo āsmānoñ se surḳh pattoñ kī tez bārish
vo tez bārish badan pe us ke
gulāb-mausam ke in dinoñ meñ
vo sāhil-e-shab pe so ga.ī thī
vo surḳh ḳhushbū kī tez dhūpoñ meñ

nile sayon ki raat thi wo

surKH KHushbu ki dhup
us shab chamak rahi thi

wo aasmanon se surKH patton ki tez barish
wo tez barish badan pe us ke
gulab-mausam ke in dinon mein
wo sahil-e-shab pe so gai thi
wo surKH KHushbu ki tez dhupon mein
