Asar Akbarabadi belonged to Agra, where he spent his early years and received his initial education. He later studied Civil Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University. His interest in poetry developed during his student years, and he began participating in literary gatherings and mushairas.

After completing his engineering education, he began his professional career and subsequently moved to Kuwait for employment, where he lived for nearly fifteen years. Alongside his professional responsibilities as an engineer, he remained closely connected with Urdu literature, poetry, mushairas and literary gatherings. He also received poetic guidance from literary figures and continued to cultivate his interest in Urdu poetry while living abroad.His literary activities extended beyond Kuwait to other Gulf and Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia and Iraq. His life represents a combination of professional achievement in engineering and a sustained commitment to Urdu poetry and literary culture outside India.
