Real Name : Syed Murtaza Husain

Born : 13 Jun 1901 | Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh

Relatives : Nida Fazli (Son)

Dua Dibaiwi was named Murtaza Hussain at his birth. He was born in a highly educated family of Gwalior on 13 June, 1901. Dibai, a place in Bullanshahar district, was his ancestral place. He worked for the Indian Railways for a long time. After the Partition of India, he migrated to Pakistan.

Dua Dibaiwi’s poetry was collected in Tasser-e-Dua, Tasweer-e-Dua, and Tanweer-e-Dua. He died in 1982 at Karachi.
