Muhammad Rashid Athar is a poet and prose writer. He has been a teacher by pofession. His has acquired MBA, MEd, BEd and BSc degrees from Karachi university nd Virtual university of Pakistan. During his education he has been taking guidance from the best teachers of Pakistan including his father Rasheed Muhammad. But in poetry and literature he has two great persons as mentors Jaun Elia and Javed Manzar.
