Dr. Shahista Mehzabi (pen name: Shaista Mehjabeen) is a distinguished academic and literary figure based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She serves as an Assistant Professor at JLN Degree College, Shivdaspura, where she is devoted to nurturing the next generation through her teaching. She holds a Master’s degree in Urdu and a Ph.D. from the University of Rajasthan.

Alongside her academic role, Dr. Mehzabi is also an established media personality. She anchors programs on First India News Channel and works as a broadcaster with All India Radio Akashvani. To strengthen her media expertise, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.

Her literary contributions are equally noteworthy. She has written around 250 ghazals and nazms, organized and participated in numerous poetry gatherings, and published critical articles and research papers in reputed journals.

Recently, her performance in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was highly acclaimed, and she was honored with the Urdu Journalism Award, recognizing her impactful work in the field of media and literature.
