Vijay Sharma was born in Calcutta on October 10, 1995. He received a B.Sc in Physics from the University of Calcutta. He started working in the film industry in his hometown and worked as a Scriptwriter and Assistant Director.

He moved to Delhi in 2016 and has since directed two short films. His films lend from his poetry, and his poetry displays a remarkable sense of visual magnificence.

He writes Ghazals and short stories, published frequently in reputed literary journals. He's currently working as a Social Media Editor and an Editorial Executive at Rekhta Foundation.
