Qasida
Qasida is basically a panegyric- a poem written in someone’s praise. But it has also been used to denounce someone in which case it’s called Hajw. Qasida follows the form of a ghazal generally opening with a matla (without it too) with all the subsequent couplets following the same metre pattern and rhyming scheme.
