maut ko jaante hain asl-e-hayat-e-abadi
maut ko jānte haiñ asl-e-hayāt-e-abadī
zindagānī ko magar ḳhār-o-zabūñ kahte haiñ
''agle vaqtoñ ke haiñ ye log inheñ kuchh na kaho''
jo zamāne ko tasavvur kā fusūñ kahte haiñ
maut ko jaante hain asl-e-hayat-e-abadi
zindagani ko magar KHar-o-zabun kahte hain
agle waqton ke hain ye log inhen kuchh na kaho
jo zamane ko tasawwur ka fusun kahte hain
