sāl-hā-sāl aur ik lamha
koī bhī to na in meñ bal aayā
ḳhud hī ik dar pe maiñ ne dastak dī
ḳhud hī laḌkā sā maiñ nikal aayā
sal-ha-sal aur ek lamha
koi bhi to na in mein bal aaya
KHud hi ek dar pe main ne dastak di
KHud hi laDka sa main nikal aaya
