sawan ki ye rut aur ye jhulon ki qataren
sāvan kī ye rut aur ye jhūloñ kī qatāreñ
uḌtī huī zulfoñ pe machaltī haiñ phuvāreñ
maiñ sub.h se naddī ke kināre pe khaḌā huuñ
mallāh kahāñ haiñ jo mujhe paar utāreñ
sawan ki ye rut aur ye jhulon ki qataren
uDti hui zulfon pe machalti hain phuwaren
main subh se naddi ke kinare pe khaDa hun
mallah kahan hain jo mujhe par utaren
