tahsīn ke tohfe mujhe 'sā.ib' detā
shābāsh mujhe 'urfī' yā 'tālib' detā
ḳhat kī mire daad aaj jo zinda hote
yā 'shāhjahāñ' detā yā 'ġhālib' detā
tahsin ke tohfe mujhe 'saib' deta
shabash mujhe 'urfi' ya 'talib' deta
KHat ki mere dad aaj jo zinda hote
ya 'shahjahan' deta ya 'ghaalib' deta
