daaGistaanii KHaatuun aur shaa.er beTaa
us ne jab bolnā na sīkhā thā
us kī har baat maiñ samajhtī thī
ab vo shā.er banā hai nām-e-ḳhudā
lekin afsos koī baat us kī
mere palle zarā nahīñ paḌtī
us ne jab bolna na sikha tha
us ki har baat main samajhti thi
ab wo shaer bana hai nam-e-KHuda
lekin afsos koi baat us ki
mere palle zara nahin paDti
