jab mah meñ tirā jamāl hogā
ḳhurshīd vahāñ hilāl hogā
tū pahlū meñ hai to hai ye 'ālam
kyā tere baġhair haal hogā
hai jaur-o-jafā hī shaan terī
ye lutf to ik vabāl hogā
kar zikr na sheva-e-vafā kā
ye tere liye muhāl hogā
ik baar to sun le hāl-e-'ḳhusro'
har chand tujhe malāl hogā
jab mah mein tera jamal hoga
KHurshid wahan hilal hoga
tu pahlu mein hai to hai ye 'alam
