qadmoñ meñ nahīñ hirs-o-havas kī zanjīr
āñkhoñ meñ nahīñ māl-e-jahāñ kī tauqīr
nāḳhun nazar aate the jo shakl-e-darham
vo pusht pe hāthoñ kī bante haiñ tasvīr
qadmon mein nahin hirs-o-hawas ki zanjir
aankhon mein nahin mal-e-jahan ki tauqir
naKHun nazar aate the jo shakl-e-darham
wo pusht pe hathon ki bante hain taswir
