H بانا बाना bānā [S. वाण, rt. वण्+कः], s.m. A kind of rocket; a kind of sword, a sort of paṭṭā with a thick-edged blade and a wooden hilt:—bānā bāṅdhnā, v.n. To be armed; to be ready; to be determined:—bānā-wālā, s.m. Rocket-thrower (cf. bān-dār).
