ابا ibā

A ابا ibā, s.m. Denying, refusing; denial:—ibā karnā, v.t. To refuse, deny.

عبا ʻabā v.n. fr. عبي, or عبأ 'to prepare,' c.

A عبا ʻabā (v.n. fr. عبي, or عبأ 'to prepare,' &c.), s.f. A woollen cloak or habit, very loose, and open in front all the way down the centre (not unlike a boat-cloak; it is usually of a black colour with stripes, and is worn by dervises or faqīrs).
