A اوج auj (P. اوك, S. उच्च, arabicized), s.m. Highest point, top, summit, vertex; zenith; height, altitude, ascendancy; highest apsis of a planet; highest position, rank, or dignity; preferment, promotion; prosperity:—auj-ě-falak, s.m. The zenith:—auj-ko pahuṅćnā, To attain to the summit of good fortune, &c.; to be very prosperous; to obtain the highest position, or dignity.
