جنون junūn

A جنون junūn, s.m. A state of possession by a jin, demoniacal possession; loss of reason, madness, insanity, phrensy;—a demoniac:—junūn ćaṛhnā, v.n. To be possessed; to become mad; to be in a phrensy:—junūn-daurī, s.m. Insanity with lucid intervals:—junūn-kī ḥālat-meṅ, junūn-ke g̠alabe-meṅ, adv. In a state of insanity, under the influence of madness; in a fit of phrensy or passion.
