P خار ḵẖār [rt. Zend kar = S. kar, fr. kr̤ī], s.m. A thorn, prickle, spine; thistle, bramble; a spur, a cock's spur;—bristle, hair:—ḵẖār āṅkhoṅ-kā, Anything disagreeable to the sight, an eye-sore:—ḵẖār-bandī, s.f.
