A ذبح ẕabḥ, vulg. ẕibḥ, ẕibaḥ (inf. n. of ذبح 'to slaughter,' &c.), s.f. Slaughtering, cutting the throat of, slaying, sacrificing;—ẕibḥ, vulg. ẕibaḥ, s.f. An animal prepared for slaughter, or sacrifice; a sacrifice, a slaughter:—ẕabḥ karnā, To slaughter, cut the throat of (an animal intended for food, agreeably to the Moḥammadan law); to sacrifice, to immolate; to slay, kill, execute, put to death.
