Binding, connecting, uniting; connexion, bond, relation, dependence; consistency, fixity; friendship, intercourse; familiarity, practice, habit, use; (in Gram.) construction; the copula:—rabt̤ barhānā (-se), To strengthen the bond of union (with), become more familiar (with), improve (one's) acquaintance (with), become intimate:—rabt̤ denā (-ko), To connect, bind together, unite, strengthen, give consistency or fixity (to); to construe:—rabt̤-o-ẓabt̤, or rabt̤-ẓabt̤, s.m.
