Purity, cleanliness; sanctity; ceremonial purification; ablution, the act of performing the ablution termed g̠usl, and that termed wuẓū; and that termed istinjā:—t̤ahārat karnā, To perform the ablution termed g̠usl, &c.; to wash; to purify oneself (see ābdast karnā).
