H منت मन्नत mannat, or manat [mān(nā)+at = Prk. अत्ती=S. आप्ति (āpi, caus. aug.+suff. ti)], s.f. Acknowledgment, assent; promise, vow;—desire, intention:—mannat baṛhānā, To fulfil a vow; to take off amulets, &c. (worn in consequence of a vow) when the vow is fulfilled:—mannat mānnā (-kī), To make a vow;—to observe or fulfil a vow.
