گوش gosh

P گوش gosh [old P. gausa; Pārsī and Pehl. gosh; Zend gaosha, fr. gush, 'to hear'; cf. S. घोष, rt. घुष्], s.m. The ear (syn. kān):—gosh-band, s.m. A bandage over the ears:—gosh-peć, s.m. A cap covering the ears against cold;—a shawl twisted round the head and ears (and worn as a turban);—an ornament worn in the turban:—g̠osh-dār, adj. & s.m. Taking care of;—keeper, preserver, protector, guardian:—gosh-dārī, s.f. Preservation, protection; care, attention;—gosh-zad honā, v.n.
