H جدهر जिधर jidhar [Prk. जेद्दह+र (for रे loc. aff.); S. यावत्], pron. adv. (correl. tidhar, udhar), Whither, where, wherever, withersoever; there:—jidhar-tidhar, adv. Here and there, hither and there, everywhere, all about, in all directions:—jidhar niwān udhar pānī ḍhaltā hai, 'Where there is a declivity thither flows the water'; misfortunes never come singly; evil unites with evil.
