H ڐرडरḍar [Prk. डरो or दरो; S. दरः], s.m.f (?), Fear, apprehension, alarm, dread, awe:—ḍar-pok, ḍar-poknā (S. ḍara+posha, and poshaṇam), adj. & s.m. 'Entertaining fear,' timid, &c. (=ḍarāk);—a timid person; a coward: — ḍar-dikhā-ke, adv. By intimidation; — ḍar dikhānā, v.t. To frighten, put in dread (of, -kā), to intimidate, to scare:—ḍār-wālā, adj. & s.m. (f. -ī) = ḍar-poknā, q.v.
