Greens; a mixture of different kinds of pot-herbs;—petty dues paid in kind to village officials:—sāg-pāt honā or ho-jānā, v.n. To become soft:—sāg-maṛī, s.f. A patch of cultivated ground; rice-field; lands in full crop:—sāg-wālā, s.m. Dealer in herbs or pot-herbs, greengrocer; herbalist; vegetarian.
