H واه वाह wāh (P. wāh; A. wāh, wāha, wāhi, wāhā), intj. O! bravo! well done; excellent!—how strange! you don't say so! what a joke! very likely indeed!—fie!;—alas! (i.q. wā):—wāh-wāh, or wāh-wā! intj.=wāh:—wāh-re maiṅ, Well done I! bravo for me!:—wāh-wāh karnā, To applaud: to clap hands:—wāh-wāh honā, or wāh-wāh maćnā, Plaudits to arise; to be applauded.
