(Colour) to fly from or leave (the face), to lose (colour), to turn white or pale (with fear, &c.); to look blank, &c.

A فائق fāʼiq (act. part. of فوق 'to become superior to,' &c.), adj. Superior, exce lent, surpassing; paramount; preferable.
