ناف nāf

P ناف nāf [Pehl. nāfak; Zend nabi; S. नाभि], s.f. The navel;—nave; middle, or centre (of anything):—nāf ṭalnā, or nāf jānā, or nāf ḍignā or ḍig-jānā (-kī), The muscles of the navel to be displaced or ruptured (through fifting a heavy weight, or other cause):—nāf-ě-shahr, s.f.
