A عطر ʻit̤r, vulg. ʻat̤r, s.m. Perfume, fragrance; essence; ottar (or otto) of roses, &c.:—ʻit̤r-dān, s.m. A perfume-box, scent-case:—ʻit̤r khaiṅćnā (-kā), To extract the essence (of):—ʻit̤r lagānā (-meṅ), To apply perfume or ʻit̤r to the body or clothes:—ʻit̤r-mālī, s.f. The rubbing of perfume:—ʻit̤r-malnā (-par), To rub perfume (on), &c. (=ʻit̤r lagānā, q.v.):—ʻit̤r nikālnā (-kā) = ʻit̤r khaiṅćnā, q.v.

طور t̤aur v.n. fr. طور 'to hover round'

A طور t̤aur (v.n. fr. طور 'to hover round'), s.m. State, condition, quality; kind, sort; manner, mode, way; conduct, demeanour:—t̤aur-be-t̤aur honā, v.n. To be in a bad way, or in a wretched condition; to be at the point of death; to be badly treated:—t̤aur-t̤arīqa, s.m. Way of acting, manner, deportment; practice, habit, manner of dealing:—ba-t̤aur, adv. In the way, or by way (of); as (e.g. ba-t̤auṛ-ě-māmūl, as usual, regularly, &c.):—ba-t̤aur-ě-ḵẖẉud, In his (or her, or their, &c.) own way; of itself, of himself, of themselves; personally.

تير tīr

P تير tīr [S. तृतीया], s.f. The fourth solar month of the Persian year (corresponding to the Hindī Sāwan); the festival held on the third day of the lunar fortnight of the month Sāwan (=tīj):—tīr-teʼohār, s.m.=tīj-teʼohār, q.v.

تد तद tad

S & H تد तद tad, = S تدا तदा tadā, adv. At that time, then; in that case, &c. (=tab, and to or tau, qq.v.):—tad-api, tad-yapi, adv. & conj. And also, and equally; still, nevertheless, notwithstanding (=tab-bhī, tad-bhī; tau-bhī:—See s.v. tab for other phrases and compounds).
