S. मदीय 'mine,' by substitution of Prk. base मह for S. मद्], a formative or inflect. base of the pron. maiṅ 'I,' and=ʻme':—mujh-sā, 'like me':—mujh-se, 'from me, with me, by me':—mujh-ko, 'to me' (=mujhe), 'me':—mujh-meṅ āyā, 'it has come on me,' 'I am responsible, I am surety' (or I will pay).
