A قط qat̤t̤, vulg. qat̤ (inf. n. of قطّ 'to cut transversely,' &c.), s.m. Cutting (a thing) transversely, sideways, or across; cutting or making a pen, cutting the nib of a pen;—the nib of a pen:—qat̤-zan, or qat̤-gīr, s.m.
