A شغل shag̠l, shug̠l (inf. n. of شغل 'to occupy, busy, employ,' &c.), s.m. Business, occupation, employment, labour, study; anything to occupy or divert; diversion, pastime, amusement:—shag̠l karnā, To pursue a business or occupation, to employ oneself; to be busy, be occupied, &c.
