صوف ṣūf

A صوف ṣūf, s.m. Wool; a piece of wool, or cloth, or thread, &c. (put into an (Indian) inkstand);—the cross-threads of gold-lace (goṭā); a kind of silk stuff:—ṣūf ḍālnā (-meṅ), To put a piece of cloth, &c. (into an inkstand).
