A وعيد waʻīd (inf. n. of وعد 'to threaten,' &c.), s.m. Predicting anything bad, threatening (with);—threat; denunciation; commination;—promising anything good.

واڙ वाड़ wāṛ

H واڙ वाड़ wāṛ [S. वाटं; or contrac. of wāṛī], s.f. Enclosed ground or space, enclosure; place; dwelling-place (used as last member of comp., e.g. satī-wāṛ, q.v.).
