A وقائِع waqāʼěʻ, s.m. pl. (of وقيعة waqīʻat), Accidents, events, occurrences;—news;—engagements, battles:—waqāʼěʻ-nigār, or waqāʼěʻ-navīs, s.m. A historiographer;—an intelligencer, a news-writer; a newspaper-correspondent:—waqāʼěʻ-nigārī, or waqāʼěʻ-navīsī, s.f. The office of an intelligencer, or of a correspondent:—waqāʼě-o-ḥawādis̤, s.m. pl. Accidents and events.
