A مقصود maqṣūd (pass. part. of قصد 'to intend, desire,' &c.), part. adj. Intended, meant; purposed, designed; proposed; desired, wished, sought;—s.m. Intent, intention, design, purpose, drift, aim, view, desire, object, scope (syn. maqṣad).
