Oil, unguent, grease, fat; oiliness, unctuousness, greasiness, viscidity; blandness, tenderness, love, affection, kindness:—snehārth (˚ha+ar˚), adv. With a view to love, on account of love, for love's sake:—sneh joṛnā (-kā), To form an attachment (for), to become mutually attached:—sneh-vān, adj. (f. -vatī), Oily, unctuous; possessed of affection, affectionate, loving.
