H باس बास bās [S. वास], s.f. Perfume, fragrance, scent, smell, odour; offensive smell, stench; trace, sign, particle, soupçon; (syn. bo, bū):—bās-baniyā, s.m. A vendor of perfumes, perfumer:—bās-mati, s.f. lit. 'Possessing perfume'; a fragrant kind of rice, and of millet.
