H بگهارنا बघारना baghārnā [S. अवघर्षणीयं, rt. घृष्], v.t. To brown onions and spices in heated oil or ghī, as a relish or seasoning for meat, &c.; to season (baghārnā consists in heating oil or ghī, throwing in some onions and other seasonings, then stirring and rubbing the mixture rapidly till thoroughly browned, when the meat, &c. to be dressed is added, and the stirring continued).
