A بشر bashar, s.m. Man, human being; mankind, mortals.

(=ba-sar karnā); to acquit oneself of; to surpass, outstrip:—ba-sar-o-ćashm. adv. lit. 'With head and eyes'; most willingly or heartily; most carefully:—ba-sar honā, v.n. To come to an end, be finished, spent, or passed; to vie (with), rival.

A بصير basīr, adj. Seeing; endowed with mental perception, knowing; (met.) weak-sighted, blind.
