H بيراگي बैरागी bairāgī [S. वैरागी], adj. & s.m. Separated from passion or worldly attachments; austere, recluse;—one who has subdued his worldly desires and passions, one who abandons the pursuits of this world; ascetic, devotee, stoic, recluse; a class of Hindū faqīrs who roam the country and practise certain austerities.
