چوپڙ चौपड़ ćaupaṛ

H چوپڙ चौपड़ ćaupaṛ [S. चतुष+पट्टिका], s.f. A game played with oblong dice (like ćausar); the cloth or board on which the game is played (having two transverse bars in the form of a cross);—the form of a cross;—ćaupaṛ-bāz, s.m. A ćaupaṛ-player:—ćaupaṛ-kā, adj. Having the form of a cross:—ćaupaṛ-kā bāzār, ćaupaṛ-bāzār, s.m. A market-place in the form of a ćaupaṛ cloth, i.e. having two transverse roads passing through it.
