چرس चरस ćaras fr. ćarsā

H چرس चरस ćaras (fr. ćarsā), s.m. A large leathern bag or bucket (for drawing water from wells;—syn. purwaṭ; moṭh);—the exudation of the flowers of hemp collected with the dew and prepared for use as an intoxicating drug (it is collected, it is said, by persons running through a field of gānjā, with leathern aprons):—ćaras-bāz, s.m.=ćarsī, q.v.

H چورس चौरस ćauras [Prk. चउरस्सो; S. चतुरस्त्रः], adj. Level, even, plane; square;—adv. On all four sides, all round:—ćauras khet, s.m. A plane superficies:—ćauras-khet-kā kon, s.m. A plane angle:—ćauras karnā, v.t. To make even, to level (=ćaurasānā).
