چورا चौड़ा ćauṛā
H چورا चौड़ा ćauṛā [S. चक्र+र+कः], adj. (f. -ī), Wide, broad, expanded; ample; pertaining to breadth, of breadth or width;—destroyed, ruined; abandoned (as a tenement, &c.);—s.m. A large open space in a jungle or remote from human habitation (=ćaur):—ćauṛā-ćaklā, adj. Expanded; extensive, spacious:—ćaurā karnā, v.t. To make broad, to widen, to enlarge, &c. (=ćauṛānā):—ćauṛe-meṅ, adv. In the open; in broad day:—ćauṛe-meṅ baiṭhā rah-jānā, To be left desolate, to be abandoned, be quite forsaken; to be ruined:—ćauṛā honā, v.n. To be wide, &c.; to be ruined, be undone.

چوڙا चूड़ा ćūṛā
H چوڙا चूड़ा ćūṛā [S. चूर्णकः or चिपिटः; cf. ćyūṛā], s.m. Rice boiled in the husk, and then parched and pounded:—ćūṛā-bhanḍārā, ćūṛā-bhanḍār, s.m. An allowance for the maintenance of the junior members of a zamīndār's family.

H چوڙا चूड़ा ćūṛā [S. चूडकः], s.m. A top-knot (=jūṛā); a crest, plume, diadem (=ćoṭī); an ornament worn on the top of the head; a ring (of brass, &c.) put on the extremity of an elephant's tusk; a ring or bangle of lac (worn by single women and femmes couvertes).
